Wave AI Solutions is a Dutch software studio, founded in 2022 by Jelmer Moerenhout and Alek Folkertsma. We develop custom automation and AI-driven solutions for companies in construction, industry and engineering. Where many businesses get stuck in manual, repetitive work, we build software that takes it over: technical document processing, estimating and take-offs from drawings and 3D models, quotes, inspection reports and tenders. We do not deliver an off-the-shelf package you have to fit yourself, but solutions that match your existing workflow, systems and format. Our approach is deliberately concrete and fast: short projects with a working result in weeks, not months, so the investment pays off right away. Well-known solutions include heldr.ai, which reads construction models automatically into traceable quantities, and RapportHelper, which lets inspectors produce their report through voice and AI. Wave AI Solutions is based in Raamsdonksveer (Noord-Brabant) and works for clients across the Netherlands. In 2026 its platform heldr.ai was judged first at the Megathon, out of a jury round with 116 judges.
