Studio Zmei

Studio Zmei specializes in broadcast-quality animation and visual development. Our teams have annually produced more than 200 minutes of high-quality work, broadcasted on some of the biggest platforms and TV channels worldwide.

The Sofia-based animation Studio Zmei was founded in 2015 and since then has worked on two original projects, as well as a few international co-productions and services on animated series, including for shows which were aired on Cartoon Network and Disney Channel. We have also created full-range service on a couple of animated adverts, though our focus remains large-scale production. Besides several artistic teams - animators which can work in Adobe Animate, TVPaint and TB Harmony - we also have a strong production team which makes sure the work is always done in a time-efficient and well-organized manner. Our network of designers can pitch in with visual development or design work for animation, and our communication and partnerships team makes sure that we are always clear and precise, and our clients - always well informed on the progress of their projects.

As a result, we offer a wide range of services including visual development, design for animation, digital 2d animation, layout and background design.
