Smaller is a senior-led brand strategy, identity and packaging studio in Toronto. We help ambitious consumer brands find the useful idea they can stand on, give it a distinctive identity and carry it through to packaging that works in the real world. The work spans positioning, naming, brand identity, packaging systems, campaign creative, launch and the digital pieces required to bring a brand to market. The studio stays intentionally small. Founder Noah Barlow leads every project, then brings in exactly the specialists the work needs: designers, writers, illustrators, developers, photographers and production partners. Clients get senior thinking, direct access and fewer layers between the brief and the work. We’re strongest with food, beverage, supplements, wellness, beauty, pet and other consumer products. Usually the product is proven and the business is moving: entering retail, launching a new line, adding SKUs, repositioning or realizing the brand hasn’t kept pace. Since 2018, Smaller has helped
