Runjack is an AI-native agency in Cape Town. We build what a business runs on: the AI and systems behind it, and the brand, websites and content in front of it, all from one team.

The people who can build you an AI agent almost never make it look good. The people who make it look good cannot build the agent. So you end up paying two suppliers who never speak to each other, and the AI gets bolted onto the side of a brand it does not match.

Runjack does both halves, from one team. Cape Town, started in 2024, six people, clients in South Africa, the Netherlands and the UK.

The work leading everything right now is AI. A European industrial group has us mapping AI across seven operating companies: agents that write in their brand voice, a chatbot over their own company data, retrieval across their technical documents, real visibility into what is sitting in the warehouse. We won that work by demoing our own AI system live and unrehearsed. For another client we built the whole platform. A question goes out on WhatsApp, the answer comes back as a voice recording, and the system transcribes it and writes it up.

We run our own agency on an AI operating system we built. Priorities, comms, CRM, content, every day. That is not a case study we borrowed. It is how the work gets done here.

None of the rest has gone anywhere. Monthly marketing retainers with social, content, ads, reporting and design. Websites and e-commerce, mostly WordPress and WooCommerce. CRM implementation, and automation between the tools that were never built to talk to each other. And AI adoption for a whole team, which means installed, trained and used, not bought once and forgotten about.

Founder-led, small on purpose, and we say the awkward thing early rather than three months in.
