Peer 2 Peer IT is a managed service provider based in Sydney, working with small and medium businesses across the metropolitan area. The business started in 2015 and incorporated as Peer 2 Peer IT Pty Ltd in 2023, built on roughly two decades of hands-on IT support and infrastructure work.

Most clients come to us running between five and fifty staff, usually with an IT setup that grew organically and now needs someone accountable for it. We take on the day to day: help desk, patching, monitoring, device management, and the vendor conversations nobody enjoys having. Response targets are published rather than vague, with 30 minutes on critical incidents during business hours.

Cyber security sits alongside that rather than being sold separately. For most Australian SMBs that means the Essential Eight as a practical framework, Microsoft 365 hardening, endpoint detection, email security, and backups that have actually been restored and tested.

The second half of the business is integration and automation. That covers connecting the systems a business already runs, such as accounting, practice management, CRM and industry specific platforms, so information stops being retyped between them. Where a process genuinely benefits from AI we will use it, and where a rules based integration does the job we will say so.

We also build websites and handle search and AI search optimisation, which is unusual for an MSP and reflects where the business began.

What clients tend to mention: plain English explanations, pricing published up front rather than quoted on request, and the fact that whoever answers the phone has usually worked on their environment before.
