NextLayerSec helps small businesses and rural organizations strengthen their cybersecurity foundations through practical assessments, prioritized recommendations, hands-on hardening, and optional Microsoft 365 security oversight. We work alongside existing IT providers and internal staff rather than requiring businesses to replace them. Services include security posture assessments, Microsoft 365 configuration reviews, identity and email hardening, remediation planning, documentation, verification, and recurring security improvement reviews. NextLayerSec is based in North Dakota and provides onsite service in selected communities, with remote delivery available for eligible engagements.
