About The Next App

The Next App is a Rotterdam-based software agency founded in 2016 by Berry Goudswaard, a developer with over 20 years of hands-on experience.

We specialise in custom mobile apps and web applications, built entirely in-house by our fixed team. No outsourcing, no freelancers. Our primary stack: Flutter for cross-platform iOS and Android apps (single codebase), NestJS for backend APIs, and Angular for web frontends.

We switched to Flutter in 2018 and have since delivered 65+ production apps and web applications for clients including Gemeente Rotterdam, KNVB, and Quooker.

Every project has one point of contact: Berry. No account managers between you and the development team. That direct line keeps communication clear and quality consistent from kickoff to go-live.

We work with Dutch SMEs and enterprise organisations that need software tailored to their processes — not off-the-shelf tools with workarounds. Many client relationships span multiple years and multiple projects.
