Linotype linecasting machines and hand-type composition were commonplace back in 1938 when Theodore Wislocky and his son, John, founded Newark Trade Linotypers - a far cry from the networked computers and digital presses that are an integral part of the Newark Trade workplace today. By 1958, the operation incorporated under the name of Newark Trade Typographers and continued its journey into the future.
