Mayhem Shield provides buyer-side assurance for enterprise AI deployments. The firm assesses whether security controls actually hold for a specific deployment, covering data paths, identities, integrations, workflows, and go-live conditions, and documents the results for approvers as findings, evidence requests, and conditions for each approval gate. Reviews are architecture-led rather than vendor questionnaire exercises, and apply one assurance model across AI deployment categories including Microsoft 365 Copilot, RAG pipelines, AI coding assistants, AI agents, and AI-enabled SaaS. Every engagement follows the same four steps: discovery and scoping, evidence and interviews, analysis and artifacts, findings and handoff. Intake collects architecture diagrams, questionnaire responses, policies and standards, evidence artifacts, and system metadata; gaps become targeted evidence requests during the review. Outputs are a written position, findings register, evidence requests, remediation priorities, and gate conditions for POC, pilot, and production, in formats security, architecture, risk, and approval forums already use.
