Local Praxis builds custom operational software for small businesses as a one-time replacement for recurring SaaS subscriptions. Booking systems, customer portals, inventory tools, and rental fleet platforms, built once and owned forever by the client.

Most projects run $1,200 to ship plus $25 to $50 per month for hosting and maintenance. No platform fees, no percentage-of-revenue cuts, no middleman between the business and its customers. The client owns the code.

Based in Port Aransas, TX. Primary focus is the Texas Coastal Bend tourism economy: vacation rental managers, fishing charter operators, golf cart rental fleets, and retail businesses replacing stacks of three-to-six SaaS tools with a single custom system.Founder, James Johnson, has prior experience at Apple, Meta, GoDaddy, and a medical device manufacturer. Prior to Local Praxis, built the full booking, CRM, owner portal, and guest messaging stack for a Port Aransas vacation rental company, solo, in production.
