Latent - Healthcare

Latent is a healthcare product development studio that builds custom, compliance-ready software for clinics, healthtech startups, research foundations, and medical device companies. We design and ship telemedicine platforms, EMR/EHR systems, clinical research tools (EDC, eCOA/ePRO, patient registries, decentralized trial stacks), diagnostic and lab software, wellness apps, and medical device connectivity — with HIPAA, GDPR, HL7/FHIR, and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements built in from day one.

Since 2018 we have delivered 100+ healthcare products across 14 countries. Engagements can be fixed-scope, time-and-materials, or dedicated product teams. Clients own the IP and source code. Typical work includes protocol-first EDC when off-the-shelf tools do not fit, clinician-gated telehealth with pharmacy workflows, and rare-disease research platforms with participant portals and remote capture.

We integrate with EHRs, CRMs, payment gateways, wearables, and custom APIs, and we staff for US time-zone overlap with a dedicated project manager as the single point of contact.
