Kates Consulting is a boutique organization design advisory firm. It's partners helped to shape and refine Jay Galbraith's organization design methodology through their years at Kates Kesler, and then at Accenture. Accenture acquired their previous firm in 2020. The team has led more than one hundred enterprise organization designs for clients ranging from Fortune 50 corporations to private equity backed, high growth companies. The firm is deliberately boutique: senior practitioners lead every engagement, the advice stays independent,

and clients keep the method after the firm leaves. They also run The Organization Design Practitioner, one of the few public organization design training programs, accredited by the Organizational Design Community.
