About Kalavara Film
Founded in 2017 by Okan Üzey in Istanbul. The company's first project, MY SUBURBAN STORIES, became one of the most talked about works of the period and reached a large audience unexpectedly. The company, which has participated in project development platforms, fairs and markets many times with the projects it has developed, has undertaken the production of PLAZA, which has won many awards in 2020, and co-produced the film ON THE WATER SURFACE, which is still in post-production in 2022.
In addition to feature-length projects, the company has also produced successful short films such as GULF, HELIX, SPOTLESS and is also developing series and format projects.
Since its establishment, the company has been working in the fields of advertising and executive production in addition to cinema and TV series. Since its establishment, the company has been providing services to organizations such as National Geographic, Doğuş Çay, Fox, İKSV, Eczacıbaşı Holding, Eczacıbaşı Sports Club, Spas TV (Russia) and Gain Medya.
