Inertia is a Toronto-based product strategy, engineering, and manufacturing partner for complex regulated hardware. We work with medical device and diagnostics companies, cleantech and industrial OEMs, and defence and robotics teams to turn difficult product problems into manufacturable, launch-ready outcomes.

Complex hardware programs come apart at the seam where product development ends and production begins. Architecture, cost, and supplier decisions get locked in before anyone knows what a real process and a real tolerance stack will demand of them, and the bill arrives at verification or transfer. We design and manufacture under one roof, so we see what breaks at that seam while it is still cheap to fix.

Development engineers the product as a coherent, verifiable system that is ready to transfer. Manufacturing stabilizes design and process through pilot builds, so production scales without surprises.

On tightly coupled products, where mechanical architecture and control electronics constrain each other, that removes coordination risk you would otherwise carry yourself.
