Here Be Monsters is an independent branding and advertising studio based in Vancouver, BC. We work with organizations navigating complexity — rebrands, campaign launches, audience shifts, and moments of transformational change.

Our founders bring over 50 years of combined experience from agencies including Rethink, TAXI, Grey, DARE, and MacLaren McCann. That background shapes how we work: strategically rigorous, creatively ambitious, and closely integrated with our clients.

We lead with research and strategy — brand positioning, audience analysis, messaging frameworks — then carry that thinking through to identity, advertising campaigns, and content. Our clients include government bodies, healthcare organizations, financial services brands, and purpose-driven consumer companies across BC, Alberta, Ontario, Colorado and beyond.

We're a studio of nine people. That means senior attention on every engagement, fast decision-making, and creative leadership that doesn't get delegated.
