Asheville Computer Company is a managed IT provider based in Asheville, North Carolina. We have supported small businesses across Western North Carolina since 2016, and today we manage more than 650 computers and servers for about 46 client organizations.

Most of what we do is full managed IT. That covers 24/7 monitoring, managed detection and response on every endpoint backed by a security operations center around the clock, cloud image and file backups with restore testing, Windows and third-party patching, Microsoft 365 administration, network and firewall support, managed Wi-Fi, and a help desk staffed by people in your time zone who already know your network. We also handle the project work that comes with it: server migrations, office moves and buildouts, structured cabling, camera and NVR systems, and workstation replacement planned before the old machine dies.

Healthcare is our largest vertical. We support eleven dental practices along with eye care and veterinary offices, and we run that work through a dedicated branch, Asheville Dental IT. In practice that means scheduling upgrades around patients, working after hours when the operatories have to stay open, and knowing the imaging and practice management software before we touch it. Outside healthcare our clients include logistics, manufacturing, hospitality, retail, construction, and professional services firms.

Every endpoint we manage is checked daily against three separate systems: monitoring, antivirus, and backup. Gaps show up as findings on a report instead of as an outage six weeks later.
