Alchemy Branding Studio is a strategy-led branding studio for ambitious SMEs, based in Abergavenny and working with businesses across Cardiff, Newport, Bristol and the rest of the UK.

Strategy comes first. Design executes it.

Most engagements start with a brand strategy workshop: a working session with your leadership team that settles who you are for, what you stand for and how you are different. You leave with a defined strategy that the identity, website and content are then built from. If you already know what you need, you can buy a single piece of work on its own, and we will say so if we think the strategy underneath it is the real problem.

We work with businesses roughly between GBP 500k and GBP 15M in turnover, in both B2B and B2C, with professional services, healthcare and charities as strong secondary markets. Recent work includes a brand strategy and live brand portal for AquaLogic, a rebrand for Christie Residential, animated explainers for Cardiff Council, and campaign films for Aneurin Bevan University Health Board and Age Cymru in both English and Welsh.

The studio is small and senior by design, supported by a specialist freelance bench, so the people you meet are the people who do the work.
