## About

Since 2017, Uplab has built and run production software for SaaS and product companies in North America and Europe — mostly long engagements measured in years, not sprints. We are a Ukrainian team distributed across Europe, with an EU company in Estonia.

What we do:

- AI development: taking AI features from working prototype to production — document extraction, retrieval, agent workflows — with measured quality and cost, not demo videos.
- Custom software development and long-term product engineering for B2B SaaS.
- Enterprise application modernization: framework exits, multi-tenant re-architecture, replatforming without a ground-up rewrite.
- DevOps and QA: infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability, disciplined testing.
- Security and compliance in practice: we have built and helped operate an ISO 27001 ISMS through external audits and penetration tests.

How we work: we run our own delivery AI-first and measure it. Our AI code reviewer is a mandatory CI step, grounded in a 146-rule style guide distilled from years of our own review findings; we track its cost per review and audit its serious findings for real fixes. Where a result is negative, we report it that way.
