Southwest Networks was founded in Palm Desert in 1996. At the time, small and mid-size businesses across the Inland Empire and Coachella Valley had nowhere to turn locally for serious IT support. Most companies either handled their own technology or relied on a contractor who only showed up when something broke. From the start, Southwest Networks set out to be different. The goal was simple. Be the IT team that actually picks up the phone, knows the business it supports, and treats technology as part of helping the client succeed.

Over the next three decades the work evolved. As cyberattacks grew and regulations like HIPAA and the FTC Safeguards Rule became central, Southwest Networks built deep specialty in cybersecurity and compliance for medical, dental, financial, and professional services firms. Today the company is led by Matt Disher, who holds the CISSP and HCISPP certifications.

Still based in Palm Desert, still locally owned, still doing the work the same way we started.
