We help purpose-driven organizations harness the art and science of human-centered innovation to create more successful + impactful products and programs. Smith Assembly's participatory and co-creative approach centers the people who build, use, and are affected by an offering. We show teams how to integrate inclusion, equity, and sustainability into their design and development practices.

Our company is founded and led by two women of different ages, cultures, and countries who bring their diverse perspectives and lived experiences to everything we do. We honed our rare expertise in both the most advanced and least resourced environments of the world (as well as with renowned global organizations like MIT, Google, Starbucks, frog, and NASA).

Smith Assembly also drives impact — we donate 5% of our revenue every year to community-led nonprofits fostering local innovation, participate in 1% for the Planet, are a Certified B Corporation , and are a Certified WBE.
