Founded in 2007, Shark Party Media is a boutique, relationship-first entertainment PR and podcast guesting agency based in NYC, representing stand-up comedians, podcasters, actors, filmmakers, bands, and musicians. In addition to representing comedians and other personalities generally, we work with projects and releases including comedy specials, comedy albums, music releases, and films across festivals and wide release, representing clients through all facets of their careers, from early-career visibility through to international tours and worldwide fame. We offer strategic repositioning and branding, podcast audience growth campaigns, podcast guesting campaigns, and media placement across podcasts, broadcast and social platforms.

Our approach to PR is relationship-driven: we know the writers and editors, the podcast bookers and hosts, we know their audiences and which clients will be a fit. We are selective about the clients and projects we take on, which allows us to bring genuine care, industry relationships, and creative strategy to every campaign.

Comedy PR & Publicity

Shark Party Media specializes in PR for stand-up comedians from touring club comics building a name to established names with specials, albums, roles in film and TV and national tours. We handle press strategy and media placement around comedy special and comedy album releases, trade announcements, and tour announcements, securing coverage in entertainment trade press, comedy-focused outlets, and mainstream media.

Podcast Guesting & Audience Growth

We built a dedicated Podcast Guesting and PR practice, as podcasting has become one of the most effective channels for comedians, actors, and musicians to reach audiences directly. Shark Party Media places clients as guests on relevant, well-matched podcasts, connecting the right voice with the right show. We also support podcast hosts themselves with audience growth campaigns and launch PR, guest booking strategy, and cross-promotion to growth.
