Outmost Studio is an award-winning animated explainer video production company based in Norwich, UK. We take a different approach from most explainer video agencies.

We discovered that consistently high engagement comes from three principles working together: clear strategy, bold creativity, and flawless execution. Whether a client is seeking conversions, brand awareness, or social impact — that blend delivers.

We produce animated explainer videos, brand stories, PR campaign content, and event videos across SaaS, healthcare, finance, technology, and non-profit. Clients include the NHS, Harrods, Adobe, Heathrow, Bupa, Volvo, O2, CEPI, the Wellcome Trust, and the Association of British Insurers.

Founded by Oliver Lawer, who previously ran Curveball Media for over 15 years, directing hundreds of animated productions. He led CEPI's campaign animation that helped facilitate $350m in funding at Davos, directed the ABI campaign that won two industry awards, and developed HEKA's motion language system — still in use years later.

Strategy comes first. We get clear on what the video needs to achieve and who it needs to reach before a frame is drawn. Then we handle everything — scripting, storyboarding, 2D and 3D animation, motion graphics, and sound design.
