Let me start with a quick story behind the idea. While on a trip, I found it troublesome to find any nearby services like hotel, restaurants as I was not a local. The google map showed some nearby businesses and stuff but filtering them as per my budget and need was hectic! Then it hit me! What if there is a platform that can show you nearby services and businesses as per your need! Not only show, but also let you buy from there, book an appointment, rent something from them! Hence, “Jo-Hukum”, which means “As you wish”.The challenges were, I would need an enormous amount of authentic data, a high performing search system to navigate among them and of course a user-friendly UI.So inspired by the massive success of some similar platforms like Gojek in Indonesian and JustDial in India, we started working to overcome the challenges from 2018. We collected over 1 lakh verified unique business data by 2020 and then finally, with a very small team and a lot of struggles, we released our minimum viable product in June, 2021 with a highly scalable infrastructure & rich database.Now users’ can find even nearby smallest businesses very efficiently. See what products or services they offer, their business hours and a lot more. Business owners can also use the users’ behaviour based analytics data provided by the system, to grow and promote their businesses.
