Human First AI Consulting helps small and mid-sized businesses adopt AI without the overwhelm. Most AI initiatives fail not because the technology doesn't work, but because the people who have to use it were never brought along. We lead with People, then Process, then Technology, in that order.

Founded by Jess Pischel, HFAI works directly with business owners and leadership teams to identify where AI actually creates value, build the change management and training that gets teams to adopt it, and put ROI-focused tools in place that stick. Past work includes embedded HR and operations consulting for funeral home groups, AI training programs delivered through Ohio's TechCred program, and AI strategy sessions for marketing and advertising clients.

We also run the HFAI Collective, a membership community for leaders who want ongoing access to practical AI guidance without hiring a full-time consultant.
