## About

Hafford is a software engineering company run by two U.S. founders, brother and sister, with a 8 person senior engineering team in Europe.We take one bounded piece of a product and build it end to end, either alongside a client's engineers or on our own. Most of our work is mobile, webapps, marketplaces and payments, backend and APIs, integrations against systems we don't control, and database work on platforms that are already carrying live traffic. Mobile is where we're strongest, and Android in particular. Most teams that say they do mobile mean iOS with Android added afterwards. Ours are senior Android developers who also ship iOS.

Our recent work includes a construction marketplace built front to back. Bookings sit on a live calendar, so moving a job carries the technician, the reserved stock and the customer notification with it. Stock is tracked across the warehouse and every engineer van and reserved against jobs that haven't happened yet. Automatic reordering off supplier lead times, quotes, payments, marketing campaigns, reporting and the mobile app are all part of the same system. We've also done integration and database work for a client whose systems could not go down, and marketplace and operations work for car dealerships and marketplaces.We're a small team by choice. Clients deal directly with the people building the software, and the same engineers stay on the work from planning through production.
