Forward Security Labs is a veteran-owned cybersecurity and GRC consulting firm based in Wolcott, Connecticut. Founded by a U.S. Army combat veteran and paramedic with over 20 years in emergency healthcare, we bring operational experience most cybersecurity consultants cannot offer. We have been inside these organizations. We know where things actually break.

We work with small and mid-size organizations in healthcare, finance, municipal government, nonprofits, and professional services. Our work falls into three areas.

Compliance and Risk Management. HIPAA Security Risk Assessments, healthcare compliance reviews, SOC 2 readiness checks, and policy development. We deliver usable documentation, not reports that sit in a folder.

Tabletop Exercises. Ready-to-run exercise packages for mass casualty and active shooter response, ransomware attacks, business email compromise, and operational disruptions. Each package includes a facilitator guide, participant workbook, after action report, improvement plan, and executive summary. We also facilitate live virtual sessions.

Federal Contracting. SAM.gov registered, CAGE code 1AFL4, SDVOSB certification pending through SBA VetCert. We support prime contractors as a cybersecurity and compliance subcontractor and pursue direct federal work under NAICS 541512.
