Kuhnen has been doing SEO for production home builders for the last 11 years and lead SEO at new homesource.com. He started in digital marketing in 1996 with Travelocity where he was the director of content, then led new product development at Ameritrade, and then entered the home building industry at Centex.

At Centex, Kuhnen led business to consumer marketing as the VP of internet marketing before starting a successful consulting practice for large production home builders. Later he worked at Newhomesource in various leadership roles over 17 years before launching Floorpop in 2024.
