## About

CICS is a Sydney-based managed IT services and enterprise integration firm founded in 2011. We deliver infrastructure management, cybersecurity operations, cloud operations, and service desk support to Australian government and enterprise organisations.

We built CICS because enterprise IT kept failing the same way, vendors shaped projects around their own roadmaps, integration was bolted on at the end, and when delivery fell apart, everyone pointed at someone else. Our clients were left holding broken implementations and no way forward.

Our model is built around a different sequence: validate first, align stakeholders before commitments are made, and define requirements clearly before any work begins. When we operate an environment, we take full responsibility for monitoring, optimisation, incident resolution, and continuous improvement as ongoing commitments, not reactive tasks.

We invest heavily in automation and proactive monitoring, so problems are identified and resolved before they impact operations. Uptime is the baseline. What we are accountable for is ensuring the systems we manage grow more stable and performant over time.
