Certance Advisory is an independent quality engineering consultancy for regulated software teams: EU financial services in scope of DORA, and UK firms under FCA and PRA operational resilience rules. The core engagement is the Coverage Audit, a fixed three-day, founder-led review that maps a client's automated test suite to the business journeys it is supposed to protect, and delivers a gap report an engineering leader can take to a board or a risk committee. Gaps are scored as Business Consequence multiplied by Detection Delay: how costly a silent failure would be, and how long it would stay invisible with no automated test guarding it. That second axis is what surfaces the gaps a coverage percentage hides. The audit requires no access to client systems. It runs on test artefacts a client's own engineer exports and reviews, with no account provisioning, no production data and no customer data. Certance was founded in 2026 by Ivan Stepantsov.
